Celestial Verses is the literary component of Celestial Enterprises. It is the “written word” which includes poetry and prose.

Poems written by Mariah Landrum Childs are created for special occasions and events. Many have been published in newspapers and other publications, including our selection of inspirational books featuring the testimonies of women of faith.

The verses are compiled into inspirational books published through Celestial Publications to  help empower, educate and deliver readers who have been held captive in the grasp of domestic violence; those who have unrealized dreams; and those who want to learn how to experience the joys of living a life for Christ inspite of challenges. The stories of women who have overcome challenges "against all odds" are shared in a collection of anthologies written by Mariah Landrum Childs. She believes,"And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony" Revelation 12:11 (NLT). Reading about how these women "made it through" helps to empower those in challenging situations to beileve that they, too, can overcome. The personal stories also give the readers hope, encouragement increased faith. 

Areas of focus are:

(1) overcoming daily problems in the home;

(2) learning to communicate more effectively; and

(3) building healthier relationships.

These areas are enlightened through plays, skits and theatrical productions sponsored by Celestial Expressions, the performing arts component of Celestial Enterprises.
